CCF Trustee since 1990

Chris Goodwin experienced the Community Cancer Center as a cancer patient receiving radiation treatments twenty years ago. Surviving her cancer, thanks to her great care in Douglas County, she has since started two businesses and assisted her husband, Dr. Goodwin in his practice. She has served on the Umpqua Community College Foundation Board, Chaired the South Umpqua School Board, and initiated the formation of the South Umpqua Schools Foundation. She was honored to serve on the CCC Executive Board and privileged to be part of those early discussions and vision for the Community Cancer Center as we know it today.

Chris is still enthusiastic about the opportunities the center provides to treat cancer patients in our local community. It was the passion and generosity of all those touched by cancer that made this community-owned cancer center happen.
