Kat Cooper moved to Roseburg in 2010, where she now lives with her husband Ben and two beautiful girls. Cooper attended the University of Oregon where she earned a B.A. in Journalism and Communications. Kat has been with Umpqua Health since 2016, where she currently works as the Community Engagement Coordinator. Kat joined the Marketing Committee in 2023.

In addition to the Community Cancer Center, Cooper also serves on the Board of Directors for the Family Development Center and Umpqua Heart, the Steering Committee for Thrive Umpqua and the Douglas County Childcare Coalition, Mercy Foundation’s The Learning Child Committee, and several other councils and committees that help Douglas County thrive.
