Kristen is a native Oregonian, born in Eugene, and raised in Roseburg.  She graduated from Roseburg High School and received her Bachelors of Science in Commerce from Santa Clara University majoring in Management, with certificates in International Business and Retail Management.

Kristen is an experienced Human Resources Director who has worked in various industries including healthcare, high technology, food and beverage, hospitality and casino entertainment.  From 2010-2016, she served as the Director of Human Resources for Umpqua Indian Development Corp, the Cow Creek Tribe’s commercial business holdings.  She directed an extensive Human Resources Department with a staff of 13 supporting up to 1200 employees.  In 2016 Kristen began serving Umpqua Community Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center, as their Development Director, responsible for Marketing, Public Relations, Community Outreach and Grant Management.  Kristen also has experience starting up companies in the high tech sector as well as her husband’s local mortgage company, Premier Home Loans.

Kristen and husband, Curt, have two teenage daughters and as a family enjoy golfing, playing tennis, waterskiing and snow skiing.
