Jennifer has been a Radiation Therapist for
19 years and joined the Community Cancer Center team in 2016. Jennifer was born in Santa Monica, California and raised in Westlake Village, California.
Jennifer attended Westlake High school where she played Volleyball and discovered the value of being a team player.
Jennifer received her Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology from Moorpark College in 1998. She then attended City of Hope’s School of Radiation Therapy and graduated October
2000 with her Radiation Therapy License. While working as a Radiation Therapist, Jennifer pursued her Bachelor’s Degree and graduated from the University of St. Francis in August 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management.
Jennifer moved to Oregon from Southwest Colorado where she had lived for the last 10 years. She wanted to be back on the West coast and closer to friends and family in Southern California.
Jennifer is good at what she does and it shows. She tells us, “When a patient is having a bad day and I make them smile and laugh then I know I am in the right field.” When asked what is one piece
of advice she would give to her patients, she says to: “Live life and every day to the fullest and have no regrets. And when we say to ‘Focus on Hope’
it means that you need to take the good with the bad in life and be strong and fight your way to the end.”
And this fighting spirit shows in everything Jennifer does. Patients view her as efficient, kind, friendly, and always looking out for their best interest. “I’ve
always looked at treating patients as that could be me or my family member on the table and how would I want to be treated. So I try to treat all of my patients with kindness and respect because this is how I would want myself and family members to be treated.”
When it’s time for a little rest and relaxation, Jennifer likes to hang out with her significant other and her 2 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys working
on her saltwater and freshwater fish tanks. Other Interests include 4-wheeling on her ATV, scuba diving, skydiving, traveling, and checking off things on her bucket list. Who knows, that list may include working with animals in a zoo or at an aquarium?
